About The Event
Dear Maa is an emotional Bengali drama that explores the complexities of motherhood and the powerful bond between an adoptive mother, Brinda (Jaya Ahsan), and her daughter, Jhimli. When Jhimli suddenly goes missing, Brinda must confront her own insecurities and the societal stigma around adoption to find her. The film, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, beautifully portrays that the connection between souls can be stronger than blood.
